Teknoise

A 2 track power electronics/noise album (1h 2m 26s) — released September 15th 2014 on Peripheral Records

Maurizio Bianchi has been at the forefront of the Industrial 'scene' for four decades and has no inclination to stop producing music of unique experimentation. A prolific artist that has encompassed several genres, namely Industrial, Noise, Dark Ambient and the Avant-Garde. Bianchi was inspired by the music of Tangerine Dream, Conrad Schnitzler and Throbbing Gristle. He originally wrote about music for Italian publications, before beginning to release his own cassettes under the name of Sacher-Pelz in August 1979. He subsequently released four cassettes under the Sacher-Pelz banner (which have now been re-issued by the Italian label 'Urashima') before switching to his own name or simply "MB" in 1980. Maurizio released a further 14 albums on cassette and LP, before leaving music behind in 1983 to follow a more 'refined' existence. Having been persuaded to return to music, Maurizio once again starting recording in 1998. He still contends to pushing the boundaries of 'difficult' music to this day.

Coming soon to Peripheral Records and now available for pre-order, Maurizio Bianchi's unreleased 2-track album entitled, 'Teknoise'. Originally recorded in August 1980 this album has never been released in any format and is an extremely rare artifact from Maurizio's collection. Two long tracks, 'Tek' and 'Noise', deliver that unique sound that M.B. has made his own. Primitive drum machines pulse over sinister analogue synths, that create an unsettling atmosphere, perhaps only the true Italian master of Industrial and Musique Concrete could ever create.
Limited to 300 copies in standard jewelcase, with artwork by Nullvoid.
